If you have telephone banking with your online banking then they can tell you who the payment comes from for payments which don't have any references by them on your online banking...

Think it's just paid ad-hoc don't think there's a set date. When I got paid a couple of years ago it was a cheque.

Did you give them your bank details?

If you check back tomorrow internet banking should tell you who sent the cash. Mine takes a day or so before telling me who sent/took my cash!

Bank Credit is normally a cheque, or is that Counter Credit

Have you been charged interest in the passed for overdraft etc?! And thought nothing of it?!

Bank Credit is for any transaction I think, because I put in some cash aswell & its there too as a bank credit.

Never been in my overdraft.......ever.

I'll keep my eye on it, see what happens, if its there longer than a month i'll move it to my ISA & keep it

best bet is going into your local tax office. they are useless on the phone and wont deal with you for a few weeks. go in with you latest pay slip baza. See someone there and get it sorted out there and then. sometimes it can be paid directly into your account
