Dont know if you can see on them pics. Its like there is air on the outsides of the tints (trapped air) and you have to put the sides down to get them out.

not actually in the tints themselves on the outside bit I know it sounds strange there must be someone who has had this problem. I just wanted to ask here before I went back to the guy himself

I know what you're talkin about.
The black bit round the edge of the window as standard. Had the same problem with my tints on the saxo. Not a lot you can do about it. The guy who did mine said keep rubbing them, but they never went away totally. Shite if you ask me.

He should've warned you before he did it. Mine did.

just so you know the black edge of the window is called "the dot matrix"
And the only way to get rid of the silver is to:
before you apply the tint, get very fine sand paper and gently ruboff the black dots, then apply the tint and it will look sweet.
lots of work for little effect so most people dont bother

Hi, I got my car tinted properly and the guy did try with a heat gun, and
actually came to my house, but he couldn't get rid of the band around the
edge. But apparently is worse on other cars. Yours doesn't look too bad!
Also, I was told on my other car when I got it tinted, that you can rub your
thumb around the rear window, where the bubbles are and this helps a
bit, but I'd check with other people first before you do it
