I'm doing brakes tomorrow, this is what i think i should do,

Rub down with wire brush / wire wool, then clean with turps or someting and then paint. < Is this right?

Also, my car is star silver and has silver wheels, what colour shal i paint calipers / drums? I was thinking yellow. Any other suggestions?

Thought about that but it will look a bit plain!

Anyone got any pics of painted brakes on a star silver corsa?

So 256mm brakes behind 15's?

Like so:

I have the same, but will be painting my callipers and drums black.

I would say you decide on the colour of the callipers, although I would stick with black, silver or maybe red at a push.

Definitely paint the drums black though - after all, why would you want to show off the fact you have drums at the rear?

Would be a good idea to go over them with some red oxide or aluminium oxide primer before spraying the colour...

Grogan, painting your brakes isn't such a good idea.

I know it looks nice when done properly and lots of people do it, but it prevents heat from dissipating so effectively and can promote break fade.

Just a point to consider mate.
