started with cleaning the dirt out of my 15 spoke wheels as whenever i wash the car i don't usually get into every spoke due to it taking so long. then clean the windows (car didn't need a clean), then wondered what i could do next and i opened up my bonnet..

my engine bay is disgusting. When i first bought my corsa 11 months ago, it was horrible, i think due to having 1 previous old lady owner who obviously never bothered to clean it since october 1999.

decided to clean up all the dirt and grime built up over almost 8 years and here you can see just how nice the engine bit (sorry not technical) came up.

the top bit hasn't been cleaned at all, the bottom bit has.

here the top bit was cleaned for 5 minutes, still has lots of gunk on it.

obviously not finished yet but had to call it a day as went through 3 scouring pads and need more. what does everyone else use to clean the grime off? took me over an hour just to do that bit.
