Been looking at quotes lately for a jap import Toyota Starlet glanza, but all the insurance companies who apparently "specialise" in jap import insurance, dont have that particular model listed on their friggin websites!
Anyone else had problems getting quotes for jap import cars?

With imports your really best to phone, I wouldnt take an online quote as being accurate & most companies wont be interested unless your 25+

Speak to Swiftay on here, he had a Glanza and is under 25.

admiral have an import starlet on there online quote system i think try them not 100 sure though.

I'm with admiral was on the impreza and now the supra but tbh they know nothing about imports and don't have hardly any models listed but they are the cheapest so!

import starlet insurance seems to range from group 8 to 16 theres no set group like most cars,
and half the places dont even know what car your talking about when trying to get a quote

You can get insured on them quite easily, my mate had one at 19 when i had my ibiza, was very similar in performance and his insurance was only £1200 apparently.
