Ive got to do an analysis of a mexican novel for part of my spanish degree, and ive not really done any literature analysis since GCSEs back in the day! I know you wont be able to suggest on the book itself as I am guessing you havent read it, but if you could see if I am on the right sort of lines it would be appreciated. Ony done about half of it so far, but any suggestions would be welcome! (cant ask my teacher about it cos he's away for the holidays!)

Tell me about it! When i signed up to do a Spanish degree, I think I should have done some more research into it to be fair! I was expecting it to be mainly about learning the lanugage etc, but as I am doing single honours we have to take literature, history, politics modules etc too. My average mark for the 30 credit Spanish language core module is well on track for a 1st, but some of the other modules are very new to me and quite difficult. Having said that though, I am finding them quite interesting though, and it is building my my knowledge of Spanish literature, even if it doesnt help me get a job
