firstly is taking the engine out of a calibre that hard ? is it something i can do myself ?

is is ok to leave an engine sitting for a while ? just until i get money to pay someone to do some work on it before fitting ?

Its fine to leave the engine sitting were it is along as you leave oil in it and store in a dry place. turn it over every now and then and it should be fine

just make sure its not damp, and oil up everything!

It's not hard hard, but if you have to ask, you'd need some help to do it.
