ok what's the easiest way of freeing these up? Tried pumping brake pedal but not budging

whip the calpiper off
drain the fliud
block of wood in the middle
compressed air in to push the pistons out.


If that fails, try bashing them free with a drift of some sort (the block of wood and a hammer). Then if your def re-fitting new pistons (good idea if seized) use a large flat head screwdriver in the piston lip to lever them up.

rebuild the calipers with new pistons, o rings and seals using plenty of grease

Cheers AK. I have new pistons and seals but will try the air thing today!
