After part melting my old airfilter on track with oil from another car I've got a new enclosed filter that I'm funning to a cold air feed where one of the fog lights used to be.

Would people recommend putting some sort of gauze at the start of the cold air feed to stop big pieces of stuff getting sucked up the pipe? If so does anyone have a clue where I could get some from, possibly a DIY store?!

I never bothered, I just removed the filter once a month to make sure it wasn't clogged up
