Hi all, there is a 318ti that I often see around my area, and it has astra coupe "turbo" badges all over the place, and I just wondered is it actually a turbo? I looked on parkers, but I would have thought a bmw 1.8 turbo would make alot more than 140bhp, and would shift a little car like a 3 series compact to 60mph alot quicker than 9.6 seconds!
Anyone the wiser on these?

yeah i wouldnt have thought so either but on here it says that one model is multipoint injection and the other is turbo-injection. yet there is no difference in power between them http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/data-detail.aspx?deriv=14616

Yeah it's not a turbo unless it's had a conversion or it's a deisel.

It's touring international, and harks back to the days of the old 02's. They made compact hatchback's that they marketed as mini tourers.

I thought my 106 XSI was 16v! was quickly pointed out that is was 8v! Couldn't understand how a 1.4 8v could be 100bhp!
