Just because certain high profile engines dont run a dry sump doesnt mean I need to follow that trend, does it?

I'm not jumping on the bandwagon, I won't pretend I know as much about engines as you but get off your high horse. I know its no bad thing to have.
He wanted it, he got it. Explain to me why a Corsa needs a V6 engine?

Yes i can understand that on a XE engine where you may be taking corners at silly high revs BUT a LET would never hit the same rev's (as power drops off) so wouldent have oil starvation being a problem.
All the LET's which are in rallycross cars running High power do not run them, so in a tried and tested world i LET's do not suffer from this problem, i think your trying to solve a problem which isent there.
I feel you would of been better with a Z20LET oil pump setup (which flow about 20% better than standard) which also has a better pickup system.
BUT
Nice bit of kit mate.....

sware iv seen some lets with dry sump systems, mainly used for clearance issues.
if i had the chance to buy one at a silly cheap price for a let id deffo buy it.
least he can be safe in knowing he shouldnt have oil supply problems with it!

The reason for the V6 was the challenge or fitting the engine, nothing else and wanting to be differant.
anyway that has no relevance to this, i was not knocking what he had purchased as its a nice bit of kit BUT i was asking why he thought he needed the dry sump for a High powered LET....

Calm down peeps, I think Beardy was generally asking why he was going to use a dry sump because the LET isn't a high revving engine, not that theres no point in using it.
As said aswell though, looks like a shot hot peice of kit.
