I would put this in off day, but seeing as it is car related i stuck it in here!
As some of you know, I'm doing a degree in motorsport engineering, up until now (close to the end of my second year) it has been pretty dull, although we have some great facilities at our uni (we even have a lotus elise race car). In our third year we have the option of leaving, and doing 12 months work experience, and then returning to do our final year.
I received the best news this morning when I was offered a full time position at PARR motorsport, who are a porsche speciliast in Crawley west sussex. They service and repair porsches, prep race cars for customers and also compete with two cars in the carrera cup.
Probably wondering why I'm telling you this, I'm not showing off, I just wanted to let other people know that if you work hard enough you can get where you want to be and although education is a long route, it is a more reliable one if you ask me.
Heres their website if anyone is interested

Cheers for all the comments guys, by the way my names Jack, just happens that my email address starts with my surname so I used that as my corsasport login.
I got onto my course with an A level in Maths and an AS level in both chemistry and physics. If you start on a foundation level you can often persuade the uni to move you up a year but you must be prepared to work very hard. Everything I learnt in my first year, I had already covered at college. But if you have not done the A levels I would recommend you do them at college, as colleges tend to teach you where as universities tell you what you need to teach yourself.
