at the moment my setup is comps at front powered by 2 channel amp 250 wats rms and a sub (400 watss rms) powerd by a mono amp (45 watts rms.)
Im after more bass so was wondering wots best. to get another sub 400wats rms making total 800 or to buy jus one sub at 800 rms. What will produce the better quality and with nice crisp deep bass?
i wud obviously need to by another amp

Well your only getting 45W to your sub when its rated at 400W. Try bridging your sub onto the 2channel amp and see if it makes it more louder.
If so all you will need is a higer rated amp for the sub. Iv got 150W 2channel amp for my 100W sub and it sounds good.
Got the amp for £20 and sub for free off a mate and its kicker lol

sri si .I assume the bloke means he has a 400RMS sub powered by a 450RMS amp
I very much doubt any manufacturer has made a 45RMS monoblock
FAST09 which subs are you looking at buying?

ye sorry amp 450rms missed the 0 lol. at the mo mine is infinity and was guna get another or jus buy one really powerfull sub.
