How much would you say is a good price for a total repsray of the outside of my car and in the same colour and no other work.

My advice.....

Pay less, suffer later on... Scrimp out and it'll bite you in the ass later.. This rule can be applied to anything on a car really...

Pay a GOOD bodyshop to do it right first time.

I own my own bodyshop i agree 800 is a good price for a respray and 500 is a bit on the steep side to paint bumpers and skirts i think you should be paying 300 tops

the immagrants will paint your car round here for a tenner...

or you could pay between £1000 to £1400 for a full repaint...would be cheaper if you pay cash and no someone good in the trade...

listen to this

my corsa was in atleast 5 different bodyshops gettign painted and 2 full resprays.

You get what you pay for. If its just to be painted id excpect around £1500 but go to a reputable company and check them over thoroughly first. Alot of so called bodyshops are rather poor quality on close inspection
