Right, Im getting a little annoyed now! Basically a few weeks ago I decided I'd re wire my sub and amp through the plastic trim round the car rather than having wires through the car.
Bearing in mind before I did this everything was working fine.
I wired the sub and amp back in and I got a spark when wiring the amp back up but I tested it, and it worked fine. All sound was crisp clear and working
Later that day I came to use it and no sound through any speakers! Me & my dad were pretty sure Id blown the built in EQ in the head unit.
so I contacted the supplier of the Unit and got an RMA returns number. I sent it off and they sent me a new unit.
The unit arrived today, identical to the old one was just a case of pressing the connector into the back. As I'd kept the original wiring.
The problem is, theres no sound (just a slight fuzz to the beat of the song, really quiet though)
I've got the new loom with the stereo, I'm contemplating buying some new bullet connectors and trying that?
I've checked the fuses on the old loom and they're in tact.
any ideas?
Dan
