My head gasket went the other day. I can get another engine to bolt in as it will be cheaper. was just wondering what else i need to do it. Its the same engine so it will bot straight in. many thanks

get new engine and put it in shouldnt need to do anything else. Might be an idea to change track rod ends and bottom ball joints while you are there though

do the head gasket and timing belt before you put it in,

it'll be easier when its out,and you'll have piece of mind also

as i said put a 1.6 in it not a 1.4
