Could be for a whole number of reasons other than your credit rating.

i was goin to go for 8k over 4 years @ 6.2 interest...went for 6k and got turned down im good with my credit apart from i have just moved into my own place so i had to put my old addy on application where my sis got the house black listed...i think that might be the problem

foin to send the £2 to find my creddit out

Ive been turned down on a £4k loan before, Northan Rock, I still dont know to this day why

I had a well paying job
No current debt
Mortgage id been paying for over a year
Nothing on credit or store cards
A1 credit rating
Money in the bank bigger than the loan amount.
Never ever defaulted a payment or not been able to pay.

Still got a no I came to the conclusion they were just being pricks
