Saw it last weekend. Awesome! Wasn't expecting to like it -- didn't expect something so dark, etc.

A female friend of mine is coming round with it tonight as she reckons I have a big one so would prefer to watch it round mine (big TV obviously!)
Maybe we'll get to see the end - never got to see the end of Borat the other week when she came round..........cos I kept nodding off

Watched it last night - what a AWESOME film it is!
One thing I don't get is the English translation of the title? At the end it comes up in Spanish as Labyrinth Of The Faun (I think - Druunkenfool?) which it is - I can't work out where the "Pan's" bit comes from?

El Laberinto del Fauno literally translated means The Labyrinth of the Faun. Since in English faun (a satyr) and fawn (a baby deer) are both pronounced the same, it was believed that there would be some confusion so the English title is Pan's Labyrinth even though the faun is not the god Pan.

The film still rocks though, was a bit scpetical about watching a film with subs throughout as I've never been a huge fan as I think it detracts from the visuals of the film - but Pan's wasn't a problem after the first few minutes.
Go and watch this film people - it's very very good!
