won a rear bumper for the Impreza on the 18th March ... collection only.
Emailed the seller the next day to say would it be ok to pay by paypal ( one of his listed payment methods) and to collect the bumper in 2 weeks once the rebuild is done.
No answer. So emailed again yesterday the same and again as yet no reply. I've read his feedback and previously he has sold an item to the next highest bidder after the winning bidder did not pay within 2 days.
I'm reluctant to paypal the money incase he's done this again, but I have no idea as he's not responded to my mails???

Leave it til he replies, if not, leave feedback.
Probably would have been better to ask him if you could collect it late before bidding though

If he's sold it to someone else surely it would be polite to let me know, I just don't wanna paypal the money then find out he's sold it to someone else.
Only takes 2 mins to write/ send a mail.

Sounds dodgy as fuck I'd find another, just don't leave feedback yet, wait til he does, then leave negative.

I replied that unless he provided me with the bumper he has advertised then I don't want it

I'm not dealing with breakers again unless in person.
Not ebay but I ordered a 'mint' corsa wing.
Arrived and it was a crash damaged corsa wing.
'Must have been the courier' was the answer.
Cancelled the cheque and not heard anything since.

Paypal + Collection is a no no. The funds you send him is not protected if he lets you collect, as i found out when i got scammed

If your asking people to collect, then you wait for cash on collection IMO, and it's his own fault for not saying when he wanted it collecting by.
Anyone asking for money for something i was picking up i'd be weary of tbh .
As for him trying to fob you off with a yellow bumper, tell him he can stick it somewhere to make it brown
