A mate phoned me 2day and told me that a guy he knows is selling his car
A mk2 astra gte (redtop), car is bein used so has tax and MOT
will be seein mate on monday for more info, ie: age, milage, condition etc
Guy wants £150 not bad i thought
either use engine for my corsa or keep in astra and have a second car for project.

What u reckon ?

bargain especialy if its got tax and mot.. but you know the score.. you pay that little money for somthing like this and its not going to be in the best of conditions.. unless the ower has won the lottory or come into ALOT of money and just thought, ahh £150 it will make someone else happy lol

yep deffo wouldnt turn down an offer like that though, might need alot of money spending on it wich could be worth while.. let us know how you get on and get pics etc

well long story bout whats happened but now i sorta have the car thanx to my best mate

just need to look at car to see if it's in ok condition to strip out and keep it or put engine in mine !!

what else will i need if i put engine in mine considering i have the whole car to play with ?? i know engine mounts

but will i need new hubs and driveshafts?

Buy it and restore it, or sell to someone that will. Dont destroy another one for the sake of a corsa, theres plenty of xe already stripped out there!
