I always wondered if i either have a dodgy (or special? ) corsa. In my 1.4 8v on the motorway (dead on 70 all the way) ive had 445 miles to a tank, and there was still half a gallon in it when i filled it back up. When i check the trip milage against the amount of fuel the car has taken on a full motorway drive it gets around 48.5 mpg.

Seems hard to believe that a much newer car with a more 'eco friendly' 1.2 engine still wouldnt match that?
