Right, i have saved £2000, and i will hopefully get 2000 for my corsa so i have a potential budget of 4k

Corsa 1.8 sri - would be hard to get a good one for 4 k

One of my mates has just bought a Starlet Glanza V, cant fault it, easily tunable. Quality car!

I have never driven a polo gti - i hear they are nippy but not so good on cornering - i know the build quality is good but any one had experiences?

i would say a toss up between the glanza or the 106. Glanza's will be a bit tatty at £4k though, and i'd have a 106 over the GTT.

No way abit tatty for £4k. You should see my mates minter and all the extra's he got for that price. Imports come over and are alot more cared for than UK cars.

Not if you look around hard enough. £4k got him a freshly imported starlet, jap lightweight alloys, tein suspension, bucket seats, HKS full exhaust system, Apexi induction kit and a Boost gauge. The thing is so clean as well. I am extremely jealous!

Forgot to mention, has just over 43k miles on the clock and the engine doesnt miss a beat!

nice! I remember racing one in my ibiza that was supposed to running 165-170bhp, sounded the tits.

starlet gtt are also very fast and light cheaper than the glanza but i do prefer the shape of the glanza, more fresh and modern
