Throttle bodies on a 1.2 8v are utterly pointless, you'd get more power from a 1.4 8v, which would cost you £50.

How long have you been driving crazycorsa?
My first car was a 1.2 8v and although i got overtaken by milk floats it really helped to teach me how to drive to the cars potential. Like motorway driving in my corsa was a nightmare but it taught me all the tricks on how to get the most out of the car.
Now I have something a little better (an mr2 lol) i really appreciate what I learned in that heap
If you've only just started driving I would suggest just sticking with what you have and getting the most out of it. If you've been driving for a while then maybe change the engine, but no small mods will make a difference on the 1.2 8v engine I'm afraid
Hope this makes sense :S

if you want something quicker, always go for the best engine you can afford, if it still isnt quick enough, then tune it. But you are better off putting money towards a better engine/car than wasting it trying to get more power from a 1.2 8v SPi.
