Goes alot further than that I'm afriad

My dad used to work for BNFl and he showed me some reports of the findings of the disaster

They were tesing the limits of both the safety equipment and the reactor itself

unfortunately it was one of those situations that should not have have happened but did for what ever reasons it was

Normally they would have got away with it and make some prtty impressive break throughs but it was a chain of events that could not be reversed

a terrible accident and no real blame can be seen from the offical reports

i havent looked at this vid but iirc they were doing a test on the reactors and it went wrong?

Also when the buildings blew, russia knew the radiation would spread all round the world on the wind so they flew planes above the cloud of radiation and dropped water into it forcing it to fall on the surrounding areas like Minsk.

Still some traces wafted off and traces can be found as far west as GB, elements of it in wales etc
