just ask them not to put it on, buy law it has to have a post code of where they were made but this could be really small.

FancyPlates claim theirs will pass an MOT. Keep the invoice and if it fails, ask for a refund and send them a copy of your MOT failure thing.
Halfords, albeit expensive, do them without anything on, except a hidden reflective 'Halfords' logo etc.

or. just keep the one you have now and stick it on if it fails, which it wont, No MOT station is gonna fail you for having no postcode on your plate
