what sort of bhp should i be looking at getting from my x16xe with these mods:
-bmc air filter
-mantzel inlet
-enlarged throttle body
-ported and polished head
-numan 264 cams
-janspeed 4-2-1 manifold
-de-cat pipe
-and remap using a dastek unichip

should see 150 bhp. depends on the mapping really.
will be a good fun little engine but not a real 150 bhp IMO. will start to rev at around 5000 rpm and then die off at about 7300rpm. below that will be a bit flat.

i was hoping it would be around the 150 mark, i was going to have the rev limit raised to 7200rpm, what are your opinions

Wouldn't the mantzel bring the rev limit up anyway....?When id my lexmaul inlet i could rev to 7000rpm

nope at the moment it limits at about 6800rpm
|
