when you say boot build, do mean you have removed the back seats and fitted the build or is it actually just in the boot as the fuel pump is under the back seats?

as long as you have a 16v pump youn wont need to change it as they are all the same part up to the V6 i think? only need to be changed on the turbo?

i suppose you can drop the tank, but i have never done this and have no idea of how difficult this would be? thing ar attached up top but, i odnt know how much that will stop you dropping the tank etc?

is there no way you can remove the boot build as you will need to do change the pump to run the XE?

which is going to more difficult, getting the boot out or finding you way about dropping the tank?

You need to ask this question in Help Zone.

You can take the fuel tank out from the bottom which will give you access to the fuel pump.
