no they were removed when I fitted my new Depos. I know of 4 local lads that have bought my HID kits and had their cars mot'd since, all have past.

How come you removed them, well done on passing i know what you mean about clean car's they turn a blind eye to some things.

ive been testing a long time and ive never seen a car pass with no cat that shuld have 1

co is produced by any combustion, and is harmful/ mot failure... the cat converts this into co2..
without a cat it cannot convert

you can usually get them to nearly pass without a cat.....if everythings running spot on.
the co is always a little high.
but they can pass on a pre-cat test

My brothers passed with no cat, EML on, handbrake and horn not working
