That review was a bit Clarksonish, spent most of it singing the cars praises, then yanks it away at the last moment for a competitor. It's just to make it more of an "interesting" read I reckon.

clarkson does one of two things, he either slates the car to start with then it turns out really ace, or he says its amazing to start with then it turns out really crap

Clarkson is a grade 1 twat.

The bloke cannot drive for toffee, torque steer Astra VXR, it doesn't have any torque steer

My point exactly.

At the end of the day though, who in their right mind would go running to buy a car after just reading a magazine's opinion on it? You go and test drive the car/its competitors to find the right one for you.

TBF, I don't think he actually understands torque steer.

ALL cars do it if you're not holding on to the wheel, it's only an issue if it rips the wheel from your hands, like the Focus RS does, which bizarrely, he liked
