How much am i looking for one of these fitted

Vauxhalls Bastard thing has only done 12,500 miles and already had a new drive shaft too I'm seriously thinking of going back to french cars

Burnups and wheelies......according to the media. Thats seriously poor, Im on 57k on original clutch...including several days at Crail doing RWYB up the quarter mile.

No idea...about the only bit on the car that hasnt broken! Best bit is, my warranty covers the clutch and brake pads, so its not as if Im shy with it!

My old SRI did 100k of thrashed miles on the original clutch. sold it on 119k still fine!

It's apparently a bearing that has gone but you have to buy a complete kit.

I'm seriously not impressed

I used to drive like a badger but i'm 24 ffs and decided it was time to grow up. I hardly ever rag the thing.

for a clutch your looking at about £150ish fitted as the gearbox has to come off aswell.

what gearbox is the car running? some of the smaller block corsa you can change the clutch without removing the box its done through the inspection plate under neather and buy removing the man rod from the plate in the passengers wheels arch, my mate does it all the time but im not sure what box it is he has on the car

My dad sold his mk2 astra 1.4 back in 2000 with 156k on the clock. only serviced it. never had to changed anything else.

looks like a new 1.2 16valve c, so if its the same as my old c, then its a box off job.

UPDATE: Something went ping and now the clutch is goosed completely RAC man had to lift the front of the car up to move it. No idea how i'm getting it to Vauxhall

I'm now driving me Mum's 307

its it slipping or just not engageing?

you can drive it without the pedal if its not engageing,

but on a plus side, you said you were fed up of your mum using you and your car as a taxi, now that wont happen,

ive ad 3 clutches in mine only dun thousand miles lol, brand nu 1 by last owner 2 weeks old, then a nu 1 wn my oil seal went, now a nu 1 cos it avin a nu engine lol
