am just fitting my new door speakers, there are two wires in the door, 1 x brown with blue stripe, 1 x blue! these wires need to be connected to the speaker wire, which is 1 x black, 1 x red, which of these wires are negative and which are positive? any help would be appreciated thanks!

lol, just put the black on the blue and the red on the blue and brown, if it doesnt work, swap them around? would of been quicker doing that than it took you to post this thread

doesnt really make a difference, just means itll move in instead of out, but red is positive and black is negative and im not too sure on the corsa colours

pretty sure the stripey wire is negative

red usually a positive colour so red to the solid colour corsa wire.

as long as they are on the same way both sides they will work, if you put one on wrong to the other then it will sound realy wide and hardly any bass

corsas are strange though, the positive battery wire on mine is black iirc and neg is brown

i literally haven't got a clue which way i did mine lol!!!!

sounds fine though
