I noticed the light that is next to the fuel guage has been staying on for a bit whilst driving. (its the square 1 wit the lightning symbol in the middle that glows orange) . Its only been doing it since yesterday and once the ignition is started it usualy goes off after about 5mins.in my manual it says it could be an electrical fault.
has anyone had this happen 2 them before???

EML? The EML wouldnt come on if it was due for a service. Do a paperclip test.

That light is the EML. Engine Management Light... ahve you had any little problems with the car recently?

Means your ECU has registered a fault. Do a diagnostic

not realy...althought it has felt a bit juddery at low revs in the low gears though. whats involved in the paperclip test????
