I would hazard a guess that you could repair that.

Though a new shell would probably eng up being easier. Having a light car pays off sometimes

I think he thought it better to go for a new shell for simplicity, swapping bits over was easier than straigtening/respraying a shell.

And the LHD one has better braking and steering setups, as the servo is above the pedal box, not on the other side of the car

Oh, and the driver offsets the weight of the engine on an LHD car too

Why did they put the servo on the wrong side of the car? That sounds like something that Fiat would do

Same reason the Nova has a silly bar over the back of the engine bay on an RHD car I suppose, built for the LHD market, adapted badly for UK

I only say that because the Corsa seems fairly modular. It looks like I could change my car to LHD fairly easily. Might be wrong though

Anyway, why has this guy built a track car and still using servo assisted brakes? Shouldn't he have sorted that out with a pedal box. In fact, didn't he have a pedal box for it with bias adjust?

It's not dead, it's still there.

And I wasn't making jokes. I never joke about cars.

Unless it's that one about the three minis that walk into a pub.

Yeah, you could.

If you look in my garage at the pics of my Nova, you'll see how bad the setup is though

I think he was still using the servo etc because the floor hinged pedal box he made didn't work properly, so he had to use a standard top hinged golf one.

He also originally had the seat about a foot further back, but had to move it for this reason.

That road has as much chance of being used for a hill climb as my ass has for a Keira Knightly double.

Still though, not good news. Most parts could be salvaged though, and means can move onto bigger and better things with the new one.
