as some of you know my other Corsa was crashed just before xmas... it had about 8 months tax on it so i sorn'd it off the road reclaimed that tax back. Sorted.
Went throught to my Local DVLA to see about transfering my Private plate over from the crashed one to my current one. Guy told me it wasnt a problem that it was sorn'd off the road and took all the docs.
Today i got all my docs returned along with the chq for 80 quid.
they say they cant transfer it over because its sorn of the road!!
So i have to spend... what 90 quid taxin my 2ltr crashed corsa with out a engine and lots of other vital part in order to spend a further 80 quid to transfer the reg off it!! its a fuckin farse.

I thought of doin that... but what the bet they will whip a months tax off me.
if it had sorn'd naturally then it wouldnt be a prob but brcause i got the tax refunded to me it is!
I dont see how that can effect it.

Nope im wrong, fucking money grabbing assholes!!!
My Vehicle is not taxed and has no current MOT. May I transfer the registration from it to another vehicle or to retention?
An application will be considered if your last tax disc expired within six months of the date upon which the VRO receive your application to transfer. In this case you must have been the registered keeper at the time the tax expired, and the tax must have expired naturally without refund. You must also provide the MOT certificate that was valid at the time the vehicle was last taxed.
