As many of you know my Corsa is nearing completion and its not gunna be used everyday of the week, weekends and the summer in good weather conditions only.

My runabout is a 1993 3 doos astra 1.4. The insurance on the astra ran out today and that means I now have 2 years NCB. I am going to use the 2 years NCB to insure the corsa as I have a had a great quote from Flux for £1120.

But how do I go about insuring the Astra? As I am using my 2 years NCB on the corsa does this mean I cant use that foe the astra either on a different policy. Got a quote from quinn direct for the astra with 0 NCB and it was £1000 and I am not paying that much!

Any Ideas?

I am with Adrian Flux, ive had a Mk1 MR2 insured with them as well as my corsa. You cant use no claims on more than one car, so the guy said he mirrored my NCD and did me a really good deal on it, something like £400. I got a quote a few weeks ago for a Nova 1.4 luxe and they did the same thing for me and the gf and that only came out at £380.

However they couldnt do anything with the Rover 414 she has now as not many people will quote on them now.

Admiral although they don't like points.

I had two cars with them, moved the Astra elsewhere at renewal but the Corsa still has the matched bonus.

call HIC, trust me

they mirrored 5 years NCB from my BMW onto my corsa 16v without any proof

my BMW isnt even insured with them!

Cheapest quote elsewhere was £500 with no NCB, HIC insured me fully comp (can drive other cars) for £180ish all in, with mods too!
