Hello, A little thread on my car 'Fef'.

Well this is how i bought her. V reg 1999 1.2 Sxi with 60k on the clock





Then next i got offered some 16" BK Racing wheels, So i thought id have them





It needed lowering, looked like a monster truck. So one day got round to my mates house with a flat drive and got it slammed -60mm on Gmax Shocks and Apex Springs.



Then got a De badged Grill of the bay.



Then got vectra handles.



So then she stayed like this for a while, some clean pics of her.







Then got some Depo Smoked Lights.



And how she stands now.








And finally i got some new i.c.e the other week.

Yeah, black cars always look good with colour coded bumpers, get the handles done at the same time and bumpstrips if your keeping them

Realli easy...just fiddley as the door trim has to come off...cheap worthwhile mod in my eyes

Update!!!!! Engine Conversion.

Well the 1.2 gave up the ghost So we started to strip it out of the car...







Then I bought a new engine from Dave A at Vsport. So went and picked that up in my mates Rover lol. P.S Dave your car is too Quick!!!



So then got my car toed up to my mates house where all the lifting gear and pit are so we could work on the car further.



Then once the car was there and the new engine, We started to lift out the old engine.



Its out!!!



Then started work on new engine..






Then we droped in the new lump into the bay



SNAZZYY

And that is how she stands at the moment, The car is Going into Vsport on Thursday to have all the wiring dun and fiddly bits

Think it was just on its way for a while, but a bit of a blast down the motorway then coming of a slip road and round a few roundabouts threw the gears seemed to do the trick

well mine seems to love bouncing off the rev limiter when cold

This one was ticking, and lost compression on 1 and 4 also was blowing oil out of the exhaust.

mine was killed by 2 of the pistons breaking and disintegrating (sp) then being dispursed through the engine, including blocking the oil pump so no oil was coming through twas fooked
