update.
i managed to find a full head near me for £70, off an astra.
vauxhall spares want £150, they reckon they are getting rare.
anyway im gona go look at this one and try and get it cheaper, been told they are exactly the same. but one thing i forgot to ask was if it was a 1.4, it could be a 1.6 which i assume wont be them same

thing is im not sure if i can be bothered to do the work though as mot has now run out and tax
so really i could be looking at £200/£300 to get it back on the road, and thats doing the work myself.

The B is now alive again.
got a new head, cam carier, inlet manifold, and all the bits. Stripped it down last weekend with my dad. and put the newly painted parts in today. started it up and voom voom. there is life once more.
havent taken it out yet but all seems well
