im thinking about spraying my alloys with rattle cans. just wanted to know what would be the best grit sandpaper to key the surface?.

This is only to see what they would turn out like. 'wheel' be getting done properly eventually.

Just some light wet n dry.

You could do em with rattle can, my brother done some ford pepper pots in black with a silver rim, looked good and lasted well.

240, 600, 1000, 1200, 1500

start with 240 lightly, then work with finer until smooth and then primer

i got this result:
