your getting rid of your car because it breaks, then getting an older rare car that the part are more expensive for ?

I'm getting rid of the 106 as i'm not enjoying it, i want something slightly bigger / quicker (if thats possible), something that will cruise down the motorwat comfortably. Not bothered about repairs / maintenance as my bro is a mechanic.

my brothers looking for an m3! I'll show him that, it's lovely, unfortunately last time i got a quote they wanted £4500 to insure it!

Give that a miss then. Theres a couple on PH at the o for around 6k.

cheers for that one, he's preferring a 3.2 evo but he can now get insured on one for £1400, he had an m3 rep so likes em alot! i'll tell him to look on PH

All sorts of variables in the construction and operation of an engine make for different effects, sounds etc.

A good example would be the uniquely different sound of a boxer 4 compared to an inline four.

G-lader (the supercharger bit) goes grindy (when the bearings wear) and Gwerks (a specialist) are THE place to go to spend your wads of cash.
