Started this in the tomtom thread but what do you think? I reckon sometimes its better to leave your car open?

Tomotom got nicked out of my car on Saturday night, prob between me going out at 9pm and gettin in at about 4am. Like I said I was a tit for leaving it in there!

They did two other cars on my street that night but when I came to the car the next morning it was open and there was no damage whatsoever to it, so like a muppet I think Id left it open! The other cars on the street had lock/door damage and also had things nicked out of them so to be honest I think leaving it open and leavin a little prezzie for them saved me a fair bit of cash! Whats a well used 2 year old tomtom worth? £75? Compare that to repairing a door and a new lock etc for a Jag?

I would still have loved to catch them tho, they would still be locked in my shed now!

Car got done on the same parking area as mine on Saturday too

Saw it being towed away on Sunday. They'd bent all the top of the door frame down (ford)

Get TomTom on your mobile mate, then you won't forget it.
