A lot of it has to be put down to the hauligers going to and from Felixstowe port (UK's biggest container port)

it once took me 4 hours to drive from ilford to dagenham down a12 its like 4 miles! because of road works

It is terrible, but if you get a clear run from Ipswich to the M25 then its quite enjoyable.

theres a bit near gallows corner going down the a12 going towards upminster from collier row where there are a couple of huge bumps and if you go over them at about 60mph you have to keep your hands so tight on the wheel or you'll end up in the bushes

i think you can get some air over them too lol.

but i agree, tis a shite road, roadworks are ongoing

Idd the A12 is awful!

Best road for me is the M69
