Just watched Return of the Jedi for first time in ages, the new edited one, i dont mind all the new bits, but right at the end when Luke sees the images of Obiwan and Yoda why did they feel the need to change the old anakin skywalker for the new one, he was a middle aged man in the original and IMO it should stay that way.

Sorry this may have been put in geek day but there isnt a film geek day,

Oh, and episode 3 is THE worst film that has ever been made.

It is an abomination, a total miscarriage of justice, and George Lucas should be made to give all the money back, publicly apologise to the world and then receive a Terrence and Philip style slap.

It should have been. It NEEDED to be, but ended up even worse than 1 and 2, and devalued the original films into the bargain.

Not happy.

They go to Chewbaccas planet to celebrate 'Life Day'

Episode III is pretty good, just a few bits that let it down.

The problem with Ep III was that not enough of the story (to take you up to Ep IV) was played out in EP's I & II, as a result there was so much to cram in to Ep III to fill in the gaps between Ep II and Ep IV that it turned into a load of rushed through guff.

It could, and should, of been soooo much better!
