Hi
I got a 1993 Vauxhall Corsa. It's got slight corrosion down the rear arch panel where the plastic arch cover piece is. Is this a structrial piece on the Corsa's as my local MOT garage failed it on that piece. I thought rear panel arches weren't structrial?

its not structural...but if its within 12" of a seatbelt mount or chassis, or has sharp edges, they can fail it..

Cheers many thanks for the replies. Admitally the hole at the bottom of the arch where meets the sill is a fail. Tho the arch hardly hold any weight. I'll just weld the holes up.
However if gona weld the piece where the arch plastic cover is. I take it the arch unscrews from somewhere?

there should be some bolts inside the arch holding it on
