I have been quoted £300 to get my roof redone and the boot half smoothed and resprayed<<this need doing anyway as sum1 key'd my boot which was nice of them.
and the roof needs doing as there is rust just above the windscreen.
it is being resprayed in matalic by the way.
just wondering if this was a good price??

sounds about right the norm is £70 - 110 per panel

All depends on the quality of the bodyshop, the guys I use do a top job and are very helpful.. but they're not cheap.

i have had welding done by him in the past and some things fitted,
he builds rally cars and know he has built a couple of mk1 ezzy's from bear shell and i think one of them has a porche engine in it,
but anyway what i have seen of his works looks pritty spot on...

sounds about right, i pay 80quid a panel where i go. just booked my car in for the gsi spoiler to be fitted, thats costing 80quid.

Not bad, I paid £100 for the painting and fitting of my Irmscher one.
