my cam shaft sensor has gone its down the garage being fixed now and is costing me £186 quid in total that suxs real bad as have just quit my job and all!!!!....

should have done it your self it would have been alot cheaper, 
 
u could have got the sensor from the scrappy and fitted it not that hard iirc.

are thay just fitting the sensor or you having other stuff done iirc the crank sensor is aroud £30 from vx or £16-17 quid of fleabay

thats a proper rip off. 
 
get your car back asap and tell them not to do the work! as an example, the sensor is £18 and takes 20 mins to fit so should be no more than £55 inc the vat then maybe £40 for a diagnostic check to be sure that the problem is solved.

unless there doing the cambelt...which for a vaux one is £80ish (kit),+ diagnostic check
