as some of my might know am doing a project on an astra gsi mk3 so i decided to smooth my spare gsi grille what you guys think still need painted tho

Get the filler going past the recessed area so it blends in better .

your trying to shape it far too early, slap on that filler in wide layers

looking gd so far but as said put a good amount off filler on it so its about 2 inches either side of it!

Looks like you used plaster....maybe pics once you are finished would be better.

kinda grind into the original plastic to kinda v out the repair rather than just fill it with splodge..
