right, just collected 3 points for my license

just over 3 years ago i got 3 points and an sp30, now the 3 years past and my license was clean until now and i have 3 new ones and an sp70(i think) but when i took out my car insurance it was in november and i still had around a month left until my sp30 went so i declared it.

now technically the sp30 is off my license but the insurance know about them, you guys think im going to get stung when i tel them about or not as i know if you only have 3 points it rarely affects your insurance but they knew about the sp30.

anyone been in this situation before?

Accidents and convictions have to be declared to insurance for between 3 and 5 years varying from company to company.

They might be declaired but sometimes dont effect the amount you pay. i now have a clean licence after 6 years! but have to wait another 2 years before its all clear on the Insurance!

just adjusted it online, it goes up by 18.50 which isnt to bad.

so what that probably means is that my insurance hasnt gone up i just have to pay 'admin fees' for them to adjust it

oh and its either an sp60 or sp70 im getting, also read on pistonheads that insurance companies arent that fussed about sp convictions as alot of people do get caught breaking the speed limit at some point in there lives without going to court
