Had this problem for a while and its really starting to piss me off. Basically i have a Sony MD headunit and a Sony MP3 changer, and whenever i skip a track on the cd, or 'fast forward/rewind etc' it makes a quick sort of fart noise - seriously! Hurts my head if the sub is on too. Anyone know what it could be? Everything else works fine. Problem is that its all built into the car and don't really want to start taking it apart unless i know which bit is most likely to be causing it.
Any help appreciated

Without knowing more info I recon its the fact that you have your changer wire is running parrell next to the power wire for your amp. (Only a guess as most people put there changers in the boot.)
If thats the case rewire your car so the power and remote wires are running down one side of the car. And your CD changer wire and RCA/signal wires are running down the other side.
