Saying my car has 125bhp, and weighing 910kg, does that mean it'd keep up with a car that has 250bhp, but weighs 1820kg?
But then what if it had twice the torque?

technically yes, but in real life i doubt it.
Don't hold me to that though

Good question mate. In theory yes, but in reality it can go either way tbh. The Veyron has about 500bhp per ton and would obliterate a Zonda F which has about the same power/weight ratio.
