Those Evo ones look good for the price, H&R, Gaz ones are 3x the price & still hold the same warranty. Considering a set for my golf

but its not about the length of the warranty. look at hyundai, they give a longer warranty than any other car manufacturer, doenst mean the cars are pleasureable to drive or good quality does it?

I fitted some PI coilovers (same as the Gmax and evo ones) to a lads car recently, the brackets for the drop links and steering arms could be bent by hand with a bit of effort. they were so badly built I asked the lad to sign a disclaimer to say that Vsport were not happy with the quality of the kit he supplied and that we didnt reccoment that they be used on the road.

Perhaps but personally I buy low value motors & dont keep cars that long, track records been 2 months to 20 months so that in mind I dont think spending £500-£600+ worth of suspension is worth my time, I see any of that back when its sold & by the time it seizes or snaps the car will be long gone.

Depends what the car is, how much its worth & what im going to be using it for.

You could argue everyone should buy that setup AK bought for £2k+ for his skyline........where does it end though!?

Im convinced for just dropping your car to the deck & normal driving (no track/mental shit) the Evo/FK ones are fine..........plenty folk on here & other sites agree!!

That said if I had a car worth more money & I took it a bit more seriously I would get the H&R/Gaz ones probably but on an old corsa/golf/whatever no.

understand 100% what you are saying colin.

but if its the value of the items thats the concern, why not spend the £300 on a decnt quality fixed rate and height kit, that will give you the quality, price tag and the enjoyment of half decnt suspension

Because fixed rate & height kits dont go to -80/100mm

I understand what your saying about quality & value for money & you get what you pay for....absolutelly & true with most things. Im just a cheap ass diy bodger wanting some low cost dirty fun without having to drop my pants
